Community Small Business Resiliency Grant application portal now open

NEW Small businesses have been severely impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Knowing how important small businesses are to our local neighborhoods and communities around the state, the Department of Commerce has developed the Community Small Business Resiliency Grant Program using $5 million in federal CARES Act funds. The application process is open and available at this link (). Successful grant applicants will be eligible for up to $10,000.

To apply, applicants must meet the following criteria:

Have been in operation since at least March 1, 2019.
Have no more than 20 payroll (full-time or part-time) employees as of March 1, 2020.
Be licensed as a Washington State business in good standing with state and federal agencies.

Important dates and timeframes

Application Portal open: October 6, 2020
Application Portal closes: October 28, 2020 12:00pm (NOON)
Final date for completing all grant award funding transactions: November 30, 2020
Date all businesses will have funding by: December 20, 2020 or sooner
