Seattle City Light and COVID Resources - bill deferral.
Seattle City Light is reaching out to local business communities to share information about resources available to medium and small business customers. We understand that COVID-19 has impacted businesses of all sizes in unprecedented ways, and we want to increase awareness of services offered in response to COVID-19 to help during these challenging times.
Bill Deferral: In addition to waiving late fees and suspending any disconnections during the emergency order, we are also offering flexible payment plans to help you with your electricity bill. Bill deferral is available to all customers.
Free Virtual Energy Assessment: We are now offering a virtual “walk-through” of businesses to identify zero cost energy saving tips to save money on the bill now. Our Energy Management Analysts can also recommend longer-term energy upgrades and provide available rebates or financial incentives. The free virtual energy assessment is available to most small and medium commercial customers, excluding multifamily buildings and national franchises and chains.
